Apple Introduces New Midnight Black HomePod Mini.

Apple has released a new color option for the HomePod Mini smart speaker, midnight. This new color is similar to the space gray color that was previously available, but it is a darker shade. The midnight HomePod Mini will be available for purchase in India starting on July 17th for Rs 10,990.

In addition to the new color, Apple has also made the HomePod Mini more sustainable by using 100% recycled materials in the mesh fabric. The previous version of the HomePod Mini used 90% recycled materials.

The HomePod Mini is a small smart speaker that offers high-quality sound and can be controlled using Siri voice commands. It also has temperature and humidity sensors that can be used to trigger smart home automations. For example, the HomePod Mini can turn on a fan if the room gets too hot.

The HomePod Mini supports the Thread wireless protocol, which allows devices to connect over longer distances while consuming less power compared to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Apple is not expected to add Apple Intelligence to the HomePod Mini or its larger counterpart because these devices do not have enough memory. Apple Intelligence is a more advanced artificial intelligence system that requires at least 8 gigabytes of memory, while the HomePod models only have 1 gigabyte of memory. Because of this, Apple is focusing on developing entirely new devices that will have Apple Intelligence.
